The Federal Government has opened applications for the second cohort of the iDICE Startup Bridge Founders Lab, an entrepreneurship incubation programme designed to help Nigerian innovators transform technology driven ideas into viable businesses. The initiative, under the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises, iDICE, Programme, provides participants with mentorship, practical training, funding opportunities and access to a nationwide innovation ecosystem.
The new application cycle follows the successful launch of the programme’s inaugural cohort, which is supporting 185 entrepreneurs across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory through 49 innovation hubs. The programme is aimed at expanding access to entrepreneurship support and strengthening innovation across the country.
Applications for Cohort 2 opened on June 24, 2026, inviting aspiring entrepreneurs and early stage founders to participate in a structured incubation programme that combines online learning, expert led masterclasses, mentorship, assessments and physical engagements coordinated through partner innovation hubs nationwide.
According to the organisers, Founders Lab is designed to help participants validate business ideas, refine solutions, test business models and develop the skills required to build sustainable enterprises. The programme also seeks to connect founders with funding opportunities and industry networks needed to accelerate the growth of Nigeria’s digital and creative economy.
