Nigerian technology startup, FlashNarrative, has launched an artificial intelligence powered brand intelligence platform designed to help organisations monitor their reputation, understand media narratives and make faster, data driven communication decisions. The platform combines artificial intelligence, media monitoring and advanced analytics to give organisations a clearer picture of how their brands are being discussed across news platforms, digital media and social networks.

According to the company, the platform monitors more than 1,000 data sources, while its AI engine analyses conversations to identify public sentiment, emerging narratives, reputational risks and competitive movements. FlashNarrative said the technology goes beyond conventional media monitoring by helping organisations understand the context surrounding conversations about their brands, rather than simply counting the number of times a brand is mentioned.

A major feature of the platform is its ability to interpret local languages and digital expressions commonly used in Nigeria, including Nigerian Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa influenced expressions. It is also designed to understand code switching, slang and cultural context in online conversations. The company said this capability could make the platform particularly useful to organisations operating in highly conversational sectors such as financial services, fintech, telecommunications and consumer businesses.

FlashNarrative also provides intelligence indicators including Share of Voice, Media Impact Score and Message Penetration Index to help communications and marketing teams measure visibility, media impact, competitive positioning and the effectiveness of strategic messaging. The startup, co founded by Elvis Ebenuwah, Toluwaninse Odewabi, Al Hameen Mohammed and Michael Atuorah, said the platform is designed to help organisations identify reputation risks before they escalate and translate emerging media conversations into timely strategic decisions.
