Yuno has entered into a strategic partnership with Flutterwave Inc in a move aimed at simplifying how global businesses process payments across Africa. The collaboration is designed to ease expansion into the continent by removing long standing technical and regulatory bottlenecks that often slow down market entry.

At the heart of the deal is a single API integration that allows Yuno’s merchants to instantly access Flutterwave’s wide range of local payment options, including cards, mobile money, and bank transfers. Instead of navigating multiple systems in different countries, businesses can now plug into one unified platform and operate across several African markets with far less complexity and cost.

The partnership directly tackles the challenges many international companies face when trying to enter Africa’s diverse payments landscape. By combining Yuno’s global orchestration capabilities with Flutterwave’s deep local presence and regulatory coverage, merchants can accept payments across countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, and South Africa, all managed through a single dashboard that simplifies tracking and reconciliation.

Speaking on the development, Juan Pablo Ortega said the collaboration gives businesses a faster and more reliable path into Africa’s fast growing markets. In the same vein, Olugbenga Agboola noted that the company’s years of building payment infrastructure across the continent have made it possible to open up Africa’s payment ecosystem to global players in a way that is both seamless and scalable, ultimately lowering the barriers to entry and unlocking new opportunities for growth.
