Interswitch has convened product managers, software engineers and developers from across its ecosystem, alongside student innovators from selected tertiary institutions, to showcase ideas and early stage solutions shaping the company’s next phase of growth.
The inaugural Innovation Product Demo Day, a three day showcase held at the Interswitch Innovation Lab Co Working Space in Lagos, brought together internal teams and young innovators to present concepts, experiments and working prototypes aimed at strengthening Africa’s digital payments and technology landscape.
Designed as both a celebration of creativity and a platform for collaboration, the Product Demo Day reinforced Interswitch’s commitment to building scalable digital infrastructure for Africa’s evolving digital economy. Over the course of the event, teams unveiled new product features and emerging concepts, engaging in open conversations that encouraged idea exchange, customer focused problem solving and opportunities for integration across product lines.
Speaking on the significance of the initiative, Adaobi Igwe Okerekeocha, Chief Innovation Officer at Interswitch, described the Product Demo Day as more than a showcase. She noted that it provides a space for teams to test ideas, learn from one another and see the real world impact of their work, while strengthening collaboration, building technical capability and inspiring both Interswitch employees and the wider tech community to continue shaping the future of technology.
The event also featured student innovators from Landmark University and Redeemer’s University, who presented solutions developed through the Interswitch Discovery Series, an initiative focused on nurturing future ready technical talent. Their participation highlighted Interswitch’s long term investment in talent development and ecosystem sustainability.
The successful execution of the Product Demo Day 2026 further underscores the company’s focus on innovation as a strategic driver of growth, as it prepares to bring a strong pipeline of new products to market and continues to empower teams to build resilient solutions that redefine digital experiences across Africa.
