Xiaomi has officially launched its much-anticipated REDMI 15C smartphone in Nigeria, with sales commencing nationwide from August 29, 2025, through authorized outlets and retail partners. The tech giant described the new device as a blend of powerful hardware, elegant design, and intelligent software features, crafted to meet the needs of Nigerian consumers at affordable prices.
A major highlight of the REDMI 15C is its massive 6000mAh battery, one of the largest in its category, designed to address Nigeria’s power supply challenges. The device also supports 33W fast charging, ensuring minimal downtime for users. With its 6.9-inch immersive display, Xiaomi said the smartphone delivers a cinematic viewing experience, ideal for streaming, gaming, and following live football matches.
Despite its large screen and battery, the REDMI 15C maintains a slim 7.99mm frame and comes in four color options: Midnight Black, Mint Green, Moonlight Blue, and Twilight Orange. It features a 50MP AI dual camera system for high-quality photography, alongside an octa-core processor and multiple storage options — 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. Prices range from N138,700 to N174,500.
To mark the launch, Xiaomi announced promotional offers, including a free branded umbrella for early buyers and a partnership with MTN Nigeria to provide a 50% bonus data offer for six months. The smartphone is available at outlets such as Finet, Raya, 3C Hub, Slot, and online via Jumia.
