British-Nigerian fintech company, FastFX, has appointed UK-based strategic communications expert, Maxwell Adeyemi Adeleye, as its Communications Manager. Adeleye, who has nearly two decades of experience in grassroots communication, brand development, and marketing, is expected to bring his expertise to the firm as it expands its market presence.
Adeleye is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (UK). An alumnus of Leeds Beckett University, he is an entrepreneur with interests spanning communications, air and sea freight cargo, and real estate brokerage. His extensive experience in political communication in Nigeria and brand development in the UK has established him as a respected industry figure.
A known contributor to Business Daily Newspaper and other reputable Nigerian publications, Adeleye is widely recognized for his insights into branding and grassroots development. His firm, The Elite Creative Solutions Ltd, grew into a leading air freight SME in the UK within four months, underscoring his ability to build brands from obscurity to prominence.
According to FastFX’s Chief Operating Officer, Damilola Olagunju, the fintech company is confident that Adeleye’s leadership will enhance its brand positioning. In his new role as a consultant, he will oversee grassroots engagement, marketing, and brand development, ensuring the firm meets its goal of expanding financial inclusion and improving cross-border payments.
The appointment comes as FastFX launches KEEP, a mobile app designed to provide the best exchange rates and fast transfers for UK-Nigeria remittances. The firm believes Adeleye’s expertise will be instrumental in communicating this innovation to a wider audience.
