Fast growing Tech company, Alluvium Technologies, recently announced a strategic new partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms and Application Programming Interface (APIs).

Founders, Taiwo Ojo and Wale O. Olojo at a general meeting said Amazon, one of the world’s most valuable brands, validated Alluvium’s operations and agreed to work in partnership in solving issues related to software and cloud services.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally.

Remotework reporter Bamidele Citizen speaks with Alluvium DevOps lead, Yusuf Braimoh about the partnership and it’s impact on global businesses.

Remote Correspondent: Good evening, can we meet you?

-My name is Yusuf and I am the lead DevOps team at Alluvium

Remote Correspondent: Recently the co-CEO of Alluvium, Mr Taiwo Ojo, announced a strategic partnership between the company and Amazon, what does this partnership entail and how large is this collaboration?

– Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the technological arm of Amazon and one of the largest contributors to the profitability and sales of the company, specializing as a web service provider for the internet in general. They are the largest provider by market share dwarfing other competitors in the field and this makes it a relevant target for any serious minded company venturing into the DEvOps space. It gives the largest surface area for services and clients.

AWS has a partnership program where they validate and partner with companies that have proven their ability to offer certain services for clients and customers who want to use the Amazon Web platform and may not necessarily have the resources to invest directly into in-house management for AWS services or want to be time efficient they can reach out to Alluvium.

So Amazon vets and validates these partners. It basically means that Amazon is saying that we know Alluvium and they are good at what they do. So anyone who wants to work with AWS can easily approach Alluvium.

There are a number of tiers for Amazon partnership; the software, the services and hardware path, but we opted for the software path because it aligns with our current usage of the platform in particular. We’ve developed a number of applications for the Atlassian marketplace. Atlassian is an Australian company that designs enterprise software for companies and organizations that work with project management.
