Elon Musk’s brain-chip implant company, Neuralink, has officially shifted its location of incorporation from Delaware to Nevada, as confirmed by the business registries of both states.

This decision comes in the wake of a recent announcement by Musk regarding Tesla’s intention to relocate its state of incorporation to Texas from Delaware, following a judicial nullification of Musk’s colossal $56 billion pay package for Tesla.

Legal experts speculate that while the relocation of Tesla’s incorporation may face obstacles, such as potential investor litigation, especially if perceived as a tactic to safeguard Musk’s compensation package, similar challenges may arise for Neuralink.

The news of Neuralink’s relocation coincides with Musk’s declaration last week regarding the successful implantation of the company’s inaugural brain chip in a human subject.

According to Musk, the patient is recuperating satisfactorily post-procedure, marking a significant milestone in Neuralink’s mission, as he continues to navigate the intricate landscape of corporate governance and technological innovation.

The relocation of both Tesla and Neuralink underscores his penchant for strategic maneuvers amidst legal and regulatory complexities.
