Tyms Inc., the AI native accounting platform behind Adam, has partnered with Seedstars, a global platform that invests in and supports entrepreneurs across emerging markets. Through the partnership, Tyms has integrated its accounting technology with Seedstars’ SIGMA platform, enabling eligible entrepreneurs in participating programmes to access automated bookkeeping and financial reporting services.

The partnership seeks to address a major challenge facing small businesses across Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia, where many entrepreneurs operate without formal financial records, limiting their ability to access credit, attract investment and pursue sustainable growth. Adam by Tyms is designed to simplify bookkeeping by allowing business owners to upload bank statements, take photographs of receipts or describe transactions in plain language, while the platform handles transaction categorisation, journal entries and financial reporting.

Tyms CEO and Co Founder, Ibrahim Adepoju, said the partnership reflects the company’s mission to make accounting accessible to every business owner, regardless of their financial background or ability to afford an accountant. Seedstars CEO and Co Founder, Pierre Alain Masson, said many entrepreneurs already possess valuable business data but lack the financial records required to make informed decisions or engage lenders and investors. He said integrating Tyms with SIGMA would give eligible founders a practical way to convert their financial information into usable financial statements.

Through the integration, eligible entrepreneurs participating in Seedstars programmes can generate income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements as their financial data is entered. The partnership reflects a growing move towards embedding AI powered financial infrastructure into platforms serving small businesses in emerging markets. Tyms said it remains open to similar integrations with other platforms supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses, potentially widening access to affordable accounting tools across developing economies.
