Aptech Nigeria will hold its national convocation on August 8, 2026, at the Sheraton Lagos, bringing together graduates, alumni, employers, industry leaders and education partners to celebrate academic achievements and strengthen collaboration in Nigeria’s growing digital economy. The event, themed “One Milestone. Many Futures,” comes amid rising demand for technology, cybersecurity, software development and digital creative skills across key sectors.

The institution said the convocation will recognise the academic and professional journey of its graduates while providing opportunities for networking, alumni induction and industry engagement. Activities will include the presentation of graduation certificates, scholarship draws, mentorship sessions and a 50 per cent international scholarship for eligible participants.

Head of International Business at Aptech, Kallol Mukherjee, said the event reflects the institution’s commitment to producing industry ready professionals capable of contributing to Nigeria’s evolving technology ecosystem. He noted that graduation marks the beginning of lifelong professional development through stronger alumni networks and continued industry collaboration.

Aptech said the convocation is open to eligible graduates from the 2022 academic session onward, with the first 100 confirmed registrants receiving complimentary guest passes. Industry stakeholders described initiatives that strengthen ties between education providers and employers as essential to closing Nigeria’s digital skills gap and preparing young professionals for opportunities in the global technology economy.
