Cashwise Finance has launched Orbit, a virtual dollar card platform designed to help businesses manage online payments and team spending more efficiently. The product, which has begun onboarding users from its waitlist, provides dedicated virtual dollar cards for employees, departments and projects, eliminating the reliance on personal fintech accounts for business transactions.

Co founder and Chief Operating Officer of Cashwise, Elsie Godwin, said the platform was inspired by recurring challenges faced by businesses, including shared company cards, poor spending oversight and delays in making critical online payments. She recalled an incident in which a remote employee was unable to run a company’s Google Ads campaign because the manager who controlled the firm’s payment card could not be reached.

According to Godwin, Orbit allows businesses to create a central account, issue individual virtual dollar cards with customised spending limits, assign role based access to team members and monitor transactions in real time. The platform is designed to simplify payments for digital advertising, cloud services and software subscriptions, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Adobe, Canva, AWS and other business tools.

Cashwise said Orbit was developed based on direct feedback from businesses and is targeted at startups, marketing agencies, exporters and companies with global operations. The firm believes the platform will improve financial control, enhance transparency and ensure business activities continue uninterrupted without depending on a single employee’s personal payment card.
