Beyond Limits, in partnership with the U.S. Consulate General, has launched the third edition of the Beyond Limits Fellowship for Founders.

The 12-week program is designed to support 30 early-stage startups in Nigeria with mentorship, training, and resources to build viable and impactful tech businesses.

The fellowship, scheduled to run from January to March 2025, will select 60 participants, with two representatives from each of the 30 startups. Applications are open to Nigerians and legal residents with startups based in the country. Interested entrepreneurs can apply before November 29, 2024, with the final list of selected startups to be announced in early December.

Dr. Juliet Ehimuan, the Founder of Beyond Limits and a former Director at Google West Africa, explained that the program focuses on providing participants with essential tools to succeed in a competitive environment. The fellowship includes training sessions on leadership, market positioning, operational excellence, and product development. Sessions will hold both virtually and physically in Lagos.

The fellowship will feature mentors and coaches, including prominent industry leaders such as Shola Akinlade of Paystack, Dr. Ola Brown of HealthCap Africa, Olumide Soyombo of Bluechip Technologies, and Seni Suleiman of Talstack. The top three startups will receive startup resources worth $10,000 to support their growth.

Julie McKay, Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Consulate General, highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship to Nigeria’s economic growth. She affirmed the U.S. government’s support for programs like the Beyond Limits Fellowship, which promotes long-term growth in Africa’s digital economy. Beyond Limits remains committed to empowering the next generation of tech leaders in Nigeria.
