An executive delegation from ipNX Nigeria Limited has paid a courtesy visit to Idris Olorunnimbe, Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, in a move aimed at strengthening industry collaboration and reaffirming support for the country’s digital transformation drive. The visit, described as a solidarity engagement, underscored the company’s backing for the leadership of the Commission and its strategic direction.
During the meeting, both parties explored avenues for deepening cooperation between the private sector and the regulator, with a focus on accelerating broadband penetration and fostering inclusive digital growth nationwide. The discussions aligned with the Federal Government’s broader agenda to expand connectivity and ensure that underserved communities are integrated into the digital economy.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Group Managing Director of ipNX, Ejovi Aror, stressed the critical role of strong institutional leadership and coherent policy frameworks in driving the nation’s ICT ambitions. He noted that sustained collaboration among stakeholders would not only enhance broadband access but also support connectivity in educational institutions and bridge existing digital gaps across the country.
In his response, Olorunnimbe commended the company for its support and reiterated the Commission’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for private sector participation. He maintained that partnerships with firms like ipNX would be pivotal to achieving universal broadband access, even as the company reaffirmed its dedication to delivering innovative ICT solutions that advance national development.
