Liquid C2, a business of Cassava Technologies, has unveiled Africa’s first Partner Experience Centre powered by Google Cloud in Johannesburg, South Africa, in a move aimed at accelerating cloud adoption and artificial intelligence innovation across the continent. The facility is designed to provide partners and resellers with hands on access to advanced technologies and the tools required to build solutions tailored to Africa’s unique market needs.
The centre offers direct access to enterprise grade platforms such as Gemini Enterprise and a dedicated “Gemini Playspace” that enables rapid experimentation with artificial intelligence. It also provides a structured onboarding pathway for partners to obtain Google Cloud certifications, alongside technical training and collaboration opportunities with specialist engineers to design and deploy scalable digital solutions.
Industry stakeholders say the initiative is expected to address longstanding challenges in Africa’s technology ecosystem, including infrastructure gaps, skills shortages, and complexity barriers that have slowed digital transformation. By creating a collaborative hub, the centre allows enterprises, startups, developers, and public sector institutions to co create solutions across key sectors such as financial services, healthcare, and retail.
Executives from both organisations described the launch as a major step toward strengthening Africa’s digital economy. Cassava Technologies’ leadership noted that the facility would help democratise access to AI and cloud capabilities, while Tara Brady emphasised that the centre would drive innovation, create jobs, and expand opportunities for businesses across the continent through a stronger partner ecosystem.
