Tosin Eniolorunda, co founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian fintech company Moniepoint, has been named among the 100 emerging leaders recognised in TIME’s 2026 TIME100 Next list. The annual list celebrates rising figures whose work is shaping the next generation of leadership across business, technology, science, politics, sports and culture.
Eniolorunda is the only African recognised among the business, technology and artificial intelligence leaders in this year’s selection. His inclusion reflects the growing global attention on Nigerian technology companies and their role in expanding access to financial services through digital infrastructure.
Founded in 2015, Moniepoint became a unicorn in 2024 and has expanded its services across payments, banking, credit and business management. The company says it now serves more than 20 million businesses and individuals, with its agency banking network covering all 774 local government areas in Nigeria.
The recognition adds to a growing list of international honours for Moniepoint and its leadership. Its co founder and Chief Technology Officer, Felix Ike, was recently named to TIME’s inaugural Executives of the Year list for Tech and Data, while the company was previously recognised among TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies.
