Chief Executive Officer of Banble, Progress Stephen, has been appointed National Assistant Director of Technology and Innovation across Nigerian universities, in a move expected to strengthen digital innovation and practical technology education within tertiary institutions. His appointment places him at the forefront of efforts to expand students’ access to technological knowledge, innovation opportunities, and industry driven digital skills.

Stephen said his vision is to raise a generation of university graduates who are not only consumers of technology but creators of digital solutions capable of competing globally. According to him, technological intelligence has become an essential skill for students regardless of their academic discipline, making innovation education a priority across campuses.

As part of his agenda, the new technology leader plans to build strategic partnerships with technology companies, software developers, entrepreneurs, and innovation stakeholders to provide students with practical exposure through mentorship, collaborative projects, and real world learning opportunities. The objective is to bridge the gap between classroom education and the demands of the digital economy.

Beyond his university appointment, Stephen leads Banble, a Nigerian technology company focused on advancing innovation in the global prediction market through social technology. He believes Nigerian universities can become powerful engines of technological transformation by equipping young people with the confidence, knowledge, and opportunities needed to build indigenous startups and drive Africa’s digital future.
