Facebook has announced the launch of a new initiative, “Creator Fast Track,” aimed at attracting and supporting content creators with guaranteed earnings and enhanced visibility on the platform. The company said the programme is designed to help creators grow their audience more quickly while monetising their content, particularly through its short video feature.
The social media platform disclosed that it paid nearly $3 billion to creators in 2025, representing a 35 percent increase from the previous year and its highest annual payout so far. According to Facebook, the new programme builds on this momentum by offering creators structured financial incentives alongside tools to expand their reach and engagement.
Under the Creator Fast Track programme, eligible participants can earn up to $1,000 per month if they have at least 100,000 followers on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, while those with over one million followers may receive up to $3,000 monthly. The company said the programme also provides three months of guaranteed pay for posting eligible Reels content, alongside increased distribution to help creators build a following more rapidly.
Facebook added that participants will gain immediate access to its monetisation tools without meeting the usual eligibility requirements, allowing them to continue earning from their content even after the initial programme period ends. The company noted that creators can repurpose existing content libraries, rather than producing entirely new material, as part of efforts to lower the barrier to entry.
The initiative comes as competition among social media platforms for creator attention intensifies, with companies increasingly offering financial incentives and visibility boosts to attract established influencers. Facebook said the programme reflects its broader strategy to strengthen its creator ecosystem, particularly as short form video content continues to dominate user engagement across digital platforms.
