Xiaomi has announced the official launch of the REDMI Note 15 Series in the Nigerian market, introducing three models, the REDMI Note 15 Pro Plus 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro, and REDMI Note 15. The new lineup is built around what the company calls REDMI Titan Durability, a design approach that combines long lasting battery performance, reinforced drop resistance, and advanced dust and water protection. Xiaomi says the series is engineered to handle the demands of everyday use while offering upgraded imaging, strong performance, and a smooth user experience.
Battery performance is a major highlight of the new series. The REDMI Note 15 Pro Plus 5G features a 6,500mAh Silicon Carbon battery with support for 100W fast charging and reverse charging, offering extended endurance in a compact design. Across the Pro models, Xiaomi’s Surge battery management system helps retain at least 80 percent battery capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, which the company estimates is about six years of typical use. The standard REDMI Note 15 also receives an upgraded 6,000mAh battery, with reverse charging supported across the lineup for added convenience.
Durability is reinforced through both structural design and water protection. The REDMI Note 15 Pro Plus 5G has received SGS Premium Performance Certification for resistance to drops, bending, and pressure, supported by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a reinforced internal structure. The device also meets multiple IP standards for dust and water resistance and can withstand water immersion for extended periods. Other models in the series also feature enhanced protection against splashes and spills, while Wet Touch technology ensures the display remains responsive even when wet.
The REDMI Note 15 Series also brings major upgrades in imaging, performance, and display. The Pro Plus model features a new 200 megapixel camera system with advanced AI processing, while the REDMI Note 15 offers a 108 megapixel camera for detailed photography. Performance is powered by a new generation of Snapdragon and MediaTek chipsets, with added support for Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and Xiaomi HyperAI on select models. Large, bright displays and boosted audio complete the package. The REDMI Note 15 Series is now available in Nigeria through authorized Xiaomi retailers and online platforms such as Jumia.
