Specno has officially unveiled its AI Workforce Readiness Toolkit, a future-driven solution designed to help businesses reskill their workforce and support employees as they integrate artificial intelligence into daily operations. Developed by Specno’s team of industry experts, the toolkit aims to boost productivity, reduce workplace disruption, and address employee anxieties around technological change.
According to Daniel Novitzkas, chairman of Specno, AI represents a paradigm shift rather than a minor update, and businesses must prepare their teams for this transformation. He noted that the toolkit provides structured support through AI literacy programmes, dashboards to assess skills gaps, customised reskilling pathways tailored to roles and industries, as well as in-house learning platforms built around practical AI applications.
The launch comes at a critical period when companies are under mounting pressure to remain competitive in a fast-changing global economy while also upholding their social responsibilities. Novitzkas stressed that South Africa’s economic strength has been built by hardworking people and cautioned against discarding employees in favour of automation, calling instead for an ethical, balanced transition that safeguards both workers and businesses.
With over 60 experts and a client base spanning 200 organisations across 20 industries – including retail, e-commerce and FinTech – Specno said it is well-positioned to guide businesses into the AI-powered future. By providing the toolkit, the company is encouraging organisations to take the lead in AI adoption, rather than waiting for government regulation, ensuring that the benefits of technological progress are shared between enterprises and their people.
