InnovationHub Africa has unveiled plans for the 10th edition of the Nigeria Innovation Summit (NIS), scheduled for October 7–8, 2025, at the Muson Centre in Lagos. Themed “Sustainable Innovation,” the summit will focus on fostering long-term, inclusive solutions that address pressing challenges such as climate change, inequality, and economic development across Nigeria and the African continent. Organizers emphasized the need to move innovation beyond novelty and toward solutions that are impactful and enduring.

The summit will bring together key stakeholders, including startups, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, government agencies, academics, and international organizations. This year’s event will feature a wide range of activities, including keynote sessions, panel discussions, NiX Talks (Nigeria Innovation Experience), workshops, startup pitches, and exhibitions. These sessions will cover critical sectors like agritech, healthtech, AI, circular economy, renewable energy, fintech, and techtainment.

Over the past nine editions, NIS has attracted more than 12,000 participants, 220 speakers, and 170 sponsors and partners from 42 countries. It has also facilitated collaborations among over 100 academic institutions and 40 government ministries. The 2025 edition aims to expand on this success by providing more opportunities for partnership, investment, and exposure of innovative ideas for industrial application and commercialization.

Participation in NIS 2025 is open to all players in the innovation ecosystem, including embassies, MSMEs, investors, and public and private institutions. The event will also be livestreamed to a broader global audience. It will conclude with the prestigious Nigeria Innovation Awards, celebrating outstanding contributions to innovation and sustainable development in the country.
