She Code Africa, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting digital inclusion for African women and girls, has been selected as a global grantee of the HP Digital Equity Accelerator. This initiative, led by HP Inc. and the HP Foundation, supports organizations advancing digital equity in underserved communities. The partnership will provide She Code Africa with HP technology, a six-figure grant, executive training, mentorship, and access to a global innovation network to help scale its impact.

Founded in 2016, She Code Africa has empowered over 62,000 women and girls across Africa through training, mentorship, scholarships, and career development programs. The organization’s inclusion in the HP Accelerator program will enable it to strengthen its infrastructure and pilot localized, tech-focused learning models in low-connectivity and underserved areas.

According to its founder, Ada Nduka Oyom, the support from HP validates the organization’s work and provides an opportunity to expand its reach at a critical time. As global demand for digital skills grows, the nonprofit plans to deepen its efforts in delivering inclusive education and creating pathways to meaningful careers in technology for women and girls across the continent.

The HP Digital Equity Accelerator aims to bridge the global digital divide, estimated at $1 trillion, by equipping nonprofits with tools and training to support disconnected communities. Alongside She Code Africa, other nonprofits from Greece, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Spain are also participating in the program, all focused on ensuring equitable access to technology and digital literacy.
