inDrive has been named the second most downloaded ride-hailing app worldwide and in Nigeria, reaffirming its growing market influence, according to a report by Sensor Tower.
The platform also achieved the highest customer service perception in Nigeria, leading the Nigeria Customer Service Index (NCSI) with a 60% positive rating.
For the third consecutive year, inDrive maintained its global position as the second most downloaded ride-hailing app in 2024, demonstrating its commitment to fair mobility solutions. It was also ranked fifth in the travel and navigation category, recording over 6.1 million downloads in December alone.
Operating in 888 cities across 48 countries, inDrive’s peer-to-peer pricing model allows passengers to negotiate fares directly with drivers, ensuring affordability and fair earnings.
In Nigeria, where ride-hailing services are crucial for urban transportation, inDrive’s model has helped drivers maximize income while keeping fares competitive.
The platform was also the most downloaded ride-hailing app in 11 markets, including Zimbabwe, Botswana, Egypt, and Morocco. Expanding beyond ride-hailing, inDrive now offers city-to-city transport, freight, and courier delivery services.
