Alluvium HQ, a certified Atlassian Silver Solutions Partner, has announced significant upcoming price increases for various Atlassian Cloud applications, effective October 16, 2024. This update, communicated via email to customers, is expected to impact several widely used tools by businesses and organizations around the globe.
The price adjustments will affect Jira and Confluence, which will see increases of 5-10%. Jira Service Management plans will also experience changes, with a rise of 7-9% for plans with 1-250 seats and a more considerable increase of 8-20% for plans with 251 or more seats. Opsgenie prices are set to increase by 5-10%, while Atlassian Guard, previously known as ‘Atlassian Access,’ will see a rise of 5-8%. Users of Bitbucket can expect a 10% increase, and Compass will experience a significant 14% hike.
In addition, there will be specific adjustments to Jira Service Management plans, Opsgenie Essentials, Standard, and Enterprise plans, as well as Bitbucket Standard and Premium plans. Notably, changes to Jira Service Management Cloud will restrict many incident, problem, and change management features to Premium and Enterprise plans. Additionally, asset objects and Virtual Agent-assisted conversations will transition to a consumption-based pricing model.
These price increases will vary depending on the current Cloud plan organizations subscribe to—whether Standard, Premium, or Enterprise. Users are encouraged to carefully consider their options to navigate these changes effectively.
Organizations using Atlassian Cloud apps have two primary paths forward. The first option is to renew licenses before October 16, 2024. Alluvium HQ urges companies to contact their representatives for renewal quotes by September 30. This will enable them to renew or upgrade their licenses before the price increases take effect, allowing them to lock in current pricing for another year.
The second option is to take no action, in which case their next license renewal after October 15, 2024, will reflect the new, higher prices.

As these adjustments unfold, it is crucial for users to remain informed to make the best decisions for their organizations in navigating the evolving landscape of Atlassian Cloud services.
