Nutanix has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Datamellon to strengthen hybrid multicloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives across Sub Saharan Africa. The agreement formalises a strategic collaboration between the two firms, combining Nutanix’s hybrid multicloud infrastructure with Datamellon’s expertise in cloud native architecture, analytics and enterprise transformation solutions.
Under the partnership, both companies will support organisations seeking to modernise their IT infrastructure, accelerate cloud adoption and deploy cloud native environments capable of driving artificial intelligence and data driven innovation. The collaboration will also focus on joint customer engagements, solution development and go to market initiatives aimed at improving application performance and simplifying enterprise IT operations across the region.
Speaking on the development, Tunde Abagun said Africa’s technology ecosystem was evolving rapidly, with organisations demanding resilient and scalable digital platforms capable of supporting innovation. He noted that the partnership with Datamellon would deepen Nutanix’s regional ecosystem strategy while helping enterprises unlock opportunities in hybrid cloud computing, analytics and AI powered services.
Also commenting, Wale Adedeji said the collaboration would enable both companies to combine cloud native transformation expertise with advanced hybrid multicloud capabilities to support next generation digital services across Africa. Datamellon currently operates across Africa, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and North America, delivering enterprise cloud transformation and AI driven solutions for large organisations.
