Audi has officially rolled out AirConsole’s interactive gaming platform across selected vehicles, transforming in-car entertainment with a suite of multiplayer games playable directly through the infotainment system.
Passengers can now use their smartphones as controllers to enjoy a variety of fun, social games while on the road, marking a new milestone in digital mobility. The feature debuts with titles like Pictionary™ Car Party, made available as part of Audi’s push toward integrating next-generation entertainment into its vehicles.
Models equipped with a passenger display will benefit from Audi’s innovative Active Privacy Mode, a digital curtain that shields the screen from the driver to eliminate distraction while enabling gaming during motion.
Previously limited to parked scenarios, this update makes gaming a continuous part of the passenger experience. The feature is now supported in Audi A5, Q5, A6, A6 e-tron, and Q6 e-tron models running Android-based infotainment systems in all Audi markets worldwide.
AirConsole’s debut offering includes a reimagined version of Mattel’s Pictionary, celebrating the game’s 40th anniversary with an in-car exclusive called Pictionary Car Party. Up to four passengers can connect via their devices and engage in real-time drawing and guessing, redefining how games can be played in transit. Mattel and Audi praised the collaboration as a game-changing step that balances fun with road safety, especially with features ensuring the driver remains undistracted.
In addition to Pictionary Car Party, AirConsole offers 13 more games tailored for in-car play, spanning trivia, racing, and party genres. Highlights include Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Overcooked, and UNO® Car Party!, with continuous updates promised. The games can be easily accessed via the Audi Application Store, and pairing is seamless—players simply scan a QR code to begin. With this integration, Audi is redefining the road trip, turning every ride into an interactive, social gaming experience.
