Kingsley Owadara, a renowned advocate for Responsible AI and AI Ethics in Africa, is set to speak at the upcoming Cloud Connect 24 conference. His presentation will focus on “Service Level Agreements (SLAs),” shedding light on the critical role it plays in effective service management across various sectors.

With a dual background in law and computer engineering, Owadara’s work spans academia, industry, and non-governmental organizations.

He currently serves as a Tech Policy and Research Fellow at Emerging Technologies for Emerging Markets, also leading Nigeria’s National Artificial Intelligence Policy Development, General Cluster, in collaboration with a team of experts saddled with the task of drafting Nigeria’s first AI policy.

Owadara, a Fellow of the West Africa School of Internet Governance and Emerging Technologies for Emerging Markets, is a mentor in the Artificial Intelligence Community in Ghana and the Teens in AI Global Hackathon, and an international volunteer at AI Hack Tunisia. He has also played a vital role in organizations such as Black in AI, Mankind in Artificial Intelligence, and the Coalition for Independent Research.

Organizers have confirmed that he will Cloud Connect 24, themed “Service Management Beyond IT,” scheduled for November 28, 2024, at The Zone, Plot 9 Gbagada Industrial Scheme, beside UPS, Gbagada-Oworonshoki Expressway, Lagos by 9 a.m.
