Amazon-owned eero has unveiled the $99.99 eero Signal 4G LTE, a device designed to automatically keep you connected when your internet goes down. The new product serves as an instant backup for eero subscribers, switching to cellular service during outages and returning to standby mode once your regular connection is restored.
The eero Signal plugs into any compatible USB-C powered eero device that supports Wi-Fi 6 or higher. It is particularly useful for work-from-home employees, households relying on security systems, or users in regions prone to internet disruptions. By relying on cellular data only when necessary, the subscription is more cost-effective than traditional 4G LTE plans.
At launch, eero offers two subscription tiers: a $99.99 annual eero Plus plan with 10 GB of backup data and a $199.99 eero Plus 100 plan with 100 GB of data. Both options include discounted pricing when purchased with the device. The eero Signal works with major carriers such as AT&T and Verizon, automatically connecting to the optimal network via a built-in multi-carrier eSIM.
Amazon plans to expand the product line later this year with a 5G version of the eero Signal priced at $199.99. Support will also extend to users on eero Business plans, providing broader coverage for professional and enterprise environments.
With the eero Signal, Amazon aims to ensure uninterrupted connectivity, offering peace of mind for users who depend on stable internet for work, security, and everyday online activity.
