Voice AI company Deepgram has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Generative AI Competency, a recognition that positions it among trusted partners delivering enterprise-ready artificial intelligence solutions at scale. The designation follows a rigorous assessment process in which Deepgram demonstrated technical strength, customer success, and real-world deployments of its technology.
According to Abe Pursell, Deepgram’s vice president of Business Development and Partnerships, the recognition underscores the reliability of its solutions. He noted that enterprises require proof that generative AI tools are not only powerful but also seamlessly integrate into existing systems. Pursell added that the AWS endorsement validates Deepgram’s ability to deliver secure, production-ready voice AI models capable of operating at scale.
The partnership strengthens integration with AWS services such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Connect, and Amazon SageMaker. It also allows customers to benefit from AWS Marketplace access, Private Pricing Agreements, and AWS credits — measures that can reduce costs while accelerating deployment. Deepgram said these benefits translate into faster time-to-value, lower total cost of ownership, and stronger assurance that enterprise investments are future-proof within the AWS GenAI ecosystem.
Deepgram has established itself as a major player in the voice AI market, with more than 200,000 developers using its platform and over a trillion words transcribed to date. Its models, capable of handling speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and speech-to-speech tasks, are already serving both startups and global enterprises. With the AWS Competency designation, the company says it is well positioned to expand its footprint in the growing generative AI landscape
